This past Saturday, June 14th, we rolled into Malabar Mos Bar & Grill — a venue with deep roots in the local scene. Word is, this place used to be the go-to spot for live music, and now under new ownership, there’s a fresh mission to bring that energy back. We’re honored that The Hot Seat was chosen to help spark the revival.

HIGHLIGHTS

From the jump, the crowd was fired up — people were dancing, singing, and genuinely hungry for the kind of live music night Malabar hasn’t seen in a while. By the end of the night, the message was clear: they want more — and we’re definitely down to deliver.

What made it even more special? We ran into an old friend — Steve — and met new friends Rick, Jim, and Annet — who came out and brought great energy with them. Always a good feeling when familiar faces show up in new places.

And a special thank you to our friend JC, who filled in on drums and didn’t miss a beat. You absolutely crushed it and helped keep the night running smooth and loud!

Big thanks to the Mos Bar crew for the warm welcome and to everyone who came out to make it a night to remember. If this was the beginning, we’re excited to be part of what’s next.
